CHLOE Ferry has hired a convicted fraudster who conned her former employer out of £14k - splashing the stolen cash on luxury holidays and designer swag.

Stephani Asbury took the money over a six month period, and told a court that she had done it “accidentally”.

The 32-year-old treated her family and friends to lavish trips away to New York, and bought designer trainers and bags.

She was handed a suspended sentence in March after admitting two counts of fraud by false representation at Dudley Magistrates Court.

Fraudster Asbury, from Newcastle, now runs the former Geordie Shore star’s finances for her new business venture, Ferry Homely.

Chloe, 26, was reportedly surprised to hear that her employee, who she previously gushed was “the best” on social media, is a criminal.

But despite being told about her past the reality star has kept her working for her.

Asbury works behind the till at her store, and posts offers on her personal social media, even offering to sort out orders via direct message.

The pair regularly pose for pictures together on Instagram, and go for expensive cocktails with Chloe’s mum Liz.

Asbury has also amassed a social media following after posting videos of her and Chloe on TikTok.

A source told the Sun: “Asbury befriended the owners of the last company she worked for, and took people’s money when she was meant to be booking them onto courses.

“She showed absolutely no remorse for what she did, and even told her victim that she had spent all of the money and wouldn’t pay her back.

“The poor woman who she stole from has had nothing back, the courts just let her off with a slapped wrist.

“Now she’s living the high life working for a reality star and bragging about how much money she is making.

“Chloe didn’t know about her past, and Asbury told her that she needed the day off for a doctor’s appointment when she was actually in court.

“She lies to everyone, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we found out she was stealing from Chloe too.

“Asbury is an absolute crook, who got greedy and carried on taking from people who cared about her.”

When approached by the Sun both Chloe and Asbury declined to comment.
