Chloe Khan ‘converted to Islam in 2012 after marrying Muslim husband’

According to the Daily Star, Chloe wed childhood pal Mohammad Imran Khan five years ago.

He later went on Instagram to clarify their relationship status and wrote: “Myself and Chloe were married years ago, it ended very amicably and we remain the best of friends."

The source added that Chloe, who found romance with trouble-maker Stephen Bear in the Big Brother house, changed her name after tying the knot.

The insider said: "When Chloe married she secretly changed to her name from Chloe Heald to Safia Khan.

"She only uses Chloe for modelling but in her personal life she goes by the name of Safia."

Safia is of early Islamic origin and is a female Muslim name meaning pure.

In October 2012, the brunette Playboy model also posted a snap of Mecca in Saudi Arabia - Islam's holiest city - and commented: "Wow its absolutley beautiful mashallah .inshallah ill go oneday . Feel soo differnt today from inside I wana to become a proper and better muslim (sic)"

Chloe was the latest celebrity to be evicted last Friday, putting an end to hot and heavy scenes with 26-year-old Bear.
