Chloe Khan ‘converted to Islam in 2012 after marrying Muslim husband’
The Celebrity Big Brother star told Facebook pals she studied the faith for two years
CHLOE Khan may be best known for her steamy antics on Celebrity Big Brother, but the busty webcam manager revealed on Facebook that she converted to Islam.
The 25-year-old said in a discussion with a fan in 2012: "iv been studying islam for last 2 years and learning arabic ect n.iv only ever eaten halal all my life nt just since I gt marrid (sic)."
A source told that the mum-of-one converted to the faith "after she married her husband who is a Muslim."
According to the Daily Star, Chloe wed childhood pal Mohammad Imran Khan five years ago.
He later went on Instagram to clarify their relationship status and wrote: “Myself and Chloe were married years ago, it ended very amicably and we remain the best of friends."
The source added that Chloe, who found romance with trouble-maker Stephen Bear in the Big Brother house, changed her name after tying the knot.
The insider said: "When Chloe married she secretly changed to her name from Chloe Heald to Safia Khan.
"She only uses Chloe for modelling but in her personal life she goes by the name of Safia."
Safia is of early Islamic origin and is a female Muslim name meaning pure.

Chloe was the latest celebrity to be evicted last Friday, putting an end to hot and heavy scenes with 26-year-old Bear.
Their steamy antics included erotic massages, licking chocolate off of each other and appearing to have sex in the toilet.
Exhibitionist Chloe also stripped off repeatedly and pole danced topless.
Chloe's reps said: "Chloe didn't convert to Islam. She did a short course on it to better understand the religion but that was it.
"The reason she changed her name to Safia wasn't anything to do with religion.
"It was because she loves sapphire diamonds, she created a spin on that."
