Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden admits to NEVER cooking a meal… but says she can drive a tractor
The TV celebrity is worth £40 MILLION and claims she is not as serious as people think
DRAGONS’ Den star Deborah Meaden has admitted she has never cooked a meal.
The 57-year-old star of the BBC2 show revealed that although she can drive a tractor, she was “rubbish” at cooking.
She said: “I’ve never actually cooked a meal. My husband Paul is fantastic, though.”
The TV star, who is worth £40million, made her first fortune running her family’s holiday park.
She said: “I learned to do a lot of different things quickly, like how to chlorinate a swimming pool, fix a plug, change a gas bottle, drive a tractor and move a caravan.”
Deborah said her “humourless” TV persona means people fear her.
She said: “Because of Dragon’s Den people think I’m going to be this humourless, slightly barking individual.
“I point to my wrinkles and say, ‘You don’t get lines like that without laughing a lot.’ ”
