Hollyoaks’ Ross Adams reveals he feared for his future on the show after Stephanie Davis was sacked
The actor had only recently started out on the soap as the cousin to Steph's character Sinead when she was sacked
HOLLYOAKS star Ross Adams feared he'd face the chop following Stephanie Davis's shock sacking from the soap last year.
The actor, 31, revealed the concerns for his character while discussing his Inside Soap Award nomination for Funniest Male at the upcoming bash.
Ross landed the dream role of Scott Drinkwell, the cousin of Steph's character Sinead, just months before she was sensationally sacked from the show in 2015.
Steph's contract was terminated “following warnings for lateness, attendance and after a final incident in which she turned up to set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption."
Prior to kick-starting his acting career on Hollyoaks, Ross worked as the assistant to the series producer for Coronation Street before moving to Emmerdale as a storyliner.
