Geordie Shore’s Gaz Beadle hints he’s been locked up in jail for 36 hours

Reality star took to Twitter to celebrate his freedom after nightmare ordeal

GEORDIE Shore star Gaz Beadle has shocked fans by posting a cryptic tweet suggesting he has spent the last 36 hours behind bars.

The reality regular took to social media to celebrate his freedom and tell fans about his nightmare ordeal.

Gaz, 28, posted the shocking message on Twitter today, and stunned his followers by suggesting he has been locked up.

He wrote: "F*****g hell eventually I am back online.... Last 36 hours you just wouldn't believe!!!!...

"#iamfree #cellmates #blockCtabletennischampion..."

Gaz has been on an international promotional tour with co-star Marty McKenna to promote Geordie Shore Down Under.

The shocking tweet comes a day after Gaz was banned from entering New Zealand due to visa issues.

He is said to be have been deported back to Australia after spending three hours being questioned by immigration officials this week.

Immigration New Zealand told the : “There are certain conditions that all temporary visitors to New Zealand must meet in order to be eligible for entry.

"The onus is on the visitor to satisfy INZ that they meet all of the entry requirements at the time they travel to New Zealand.

"Mr Beadle did not meet these requirements.

"He was put on a flight back to Australia [on Wednesday] afternoon after being released on conditions which allowed him to spend [Tuesday] night at his pre-arranged accommodation."

Gaz has not given any more details about his time in a "cell" but his tweet prompted a flurry of responses from concerned fans.

One wrote: "Oh no... what happened?! Hope you're ok? Xx..."

Another added: "Lad to hear ur ok hope at least u were looked after, At least now u can tell ppl Uve been to jail..."
