Kendall Jenner has landed her first Vogue cover – and it’s the coverted September issue

KENDALL Jenner has revealed she's Vogue’s September issue cover star.
The supermodel, 20, branded “the breakout model of her generation” by the publication, gushed about the honour to her 63.1 million Instagram followers on Thursday.
She wrote: “In a room with a bunch of people I love, looking at this cover made me cry.
“I F***ING DID IT.
“SEPTEMBER VOGUE.
“This is the coolest thing ever! can't thank you enough Anna, for giving me the honor.”
The September issue is seen as the premiere release of any fashion magazine, where the biggest trends are celebrated for the following year.
For the feature, Kendall sat down with Vogue writer Jonathan Van Meter.
She told the journalist: "Obviously, my success came after my sisters' - I got to see all of their mistakes and watch out for them."
Discussing her sisters success, Kim Kardashian added: "'She had her eyes focused on exactly what she wanted to do and she made it happen."
Jonathan, the writer, also added his insight from spending time with the supermodel.
He said: "In some ways, [Kendall] is reminiscent of Linda Evangelista.
"She also knew she wanted to be a model from the time she was a little girl hanging out in her bedroom, practising her runway walk, cutting up fashion magazines.
"Both of them essentially willed it to happen, which is rare."

In 2014, editor Anna Wintour was slammed for featuring Kim and Kanye West on the front of the publication - but sales later proved it was a huge success.
Their issue sold over 500,000 copies, but just 350,00 of Beyonce's selling and 300,000 of Michelle Obama's.
