Opening up about her hormone issue in her pregnancy blog for OK! Magazine, she said: “This is one thing of the entire pregnancy that’s proper stressing me out now. It’s been 4 months of not knowing what I want to eat and feeling ill every day.”

The former Hollyoaks actress continued: “For people who aren’t pregnant, the only way I can describe is that it’s like having a permanent bug – nausea and everything, it’s making me feel awful. I’ll definitely be getting my iron tested soon”.

The star also shared a clip of the moment she discovered she was having a little boy.

Stephwhose ex-partner Jeremy still denies being the father – sobs with delight as she finds out the sex of her unborn child.

And she is already convinced he looks just like Jeremy.

She said: "It's the weirdest and most amazing thing - even at this stage, our son looks just like Jeremy. He's got his skinny long legs and big ears. I got a DVD of the scan and was going to send it to Jeremy but he decided to have no involvement during the pregnancy, so it's his loss. I went straight to the toilet and cried my eyes out.

"I'd like to say they were happy tears, but they were tinged with some sadness because seeing my baby like that really made it hit home that I'm going to be a single mum. I was also a little sad because it's another milestone in the pregnancy that Jeremy has missed out on."
