Inside Changing Rooms star Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen’s incredible VERY colourful Cotswolds home
LAURENCE Llewelyn-Bowen will be back on screens shortly decorating people's homes in the reboot of Changing Rooms.
But in the meantime, Laurence has been sprucing up his own interiors at the stunning country house he lives in with his wife Jackie.
Laurence might travel all over the country to makeover homes but in his downtime, he stays at his country retreat in the Cotswolds.
The interior designer loves bold interiors with a touch of opulence so of course his own home is colourful and grand.
Laurence bought the 17th-century, grade-II listed manor house in 2007 and has lovingly restored it so it's now fit for royalty.
The home if packed full of playful colours and bold accessories and oozes character and style.
In the semi-open plan kitchen and dining area a bold green cabbage print wallpaper ties the rooms together.
Dark blue cupboards in the kitchen are complimented with gold handles.
Blue velvet barstools make a breakfast bar area for informal dining.
Meanwhile, the formal dining room has a white French country style dining table with seating for eight.
A large gold gilded mirror opens up the room and built-in shelves display the family's collection of plates and crockery.
Upstairs in the master bedroom and Laurence has let loose his warm coral fantasy.
A warm toile wallpaper sets the tone and a large dark wooden bed dominates the room.
Delicate orchids lend a touch of femininity to the room while a coral headboard ties everything together.
Outside, Laurence keeps a picture-perfect garden – with traditional English flowers, a courtyard and mature trees.
Changing Rooms will return to our screens on Wednesday 18th August.
The flamboyant designer, 56, is the only original BBC star to feature in Channel 4’s new version.
