Gemma Collins left terrified and begs strangers for help as nephew, 13, drifts out to sea in a kayak on holiday

, Gemma is seen standing with her hands on her hips chatting to a lifeguard and pointing at the youngest son of her brother Russell being pushed further out to sea. 

A source told the publication: "She was really frightened. Everyone knows how much Gemma loves her nephews and she wouldn't forgive herself if anything happened to them.

"Naturally, she panicked when she realised Hayden was left out on his own and he looked some way out on his kayak, she rushed to the lifeguard who was very responsive, and used a jet-ski to quickly rescue him.

"Hayden was being an adventurous teenager and wasn't sure what the fuss was all about, but Gemma knows how these situations can turn from bad to worse in a matter of seconds."

A fellow beach goer told the publication that the situation unfolded over 15 minutes after Gemma had called out to the trio, who had travelled too far out, to "come back".

However the onlooker said the teens couldn't hear the TV star from the shore and continued to drift further out, which the source claimed was a "scary situation" and left Gemma "frantic".

Gemma is very close to her brother Russell's family and said last year that she treats Hayden, who featured on her reality series Diva Forever, like he is her own son.
