Inside EastEnders star Tony Clay’s 30th birthday with stunning girlfriend Olivia in huge hotel suite
EASTENDERS star Tony Clay celebrated his 30th birthday last weekend with a luxury stay outside Canterbury with his girlfriend Olivia.
The actor, who plays Callum Highway on Albert Square, took to Instagram yesterday to reflect on his celebratory weekend away to the four-star Cave Hotel & Golf Resort with his “nearest and dearest”.
The BBC star shared several photos of him marking the milestone, including a selfie with his other half Olivia, shots of him with his pals and another of him soaking up the resort’s scenery.
Notably, Tony gave fans a glimpse inside the incredible £1,287-a-night penthouse suite he was staying in, which featured a pool table, living room, cinema screen, and statement fireplace.
Rounding off the post, the soap star also shared a video of his family and friends singing him happy birthday as a hotel staff member carried over his birthday cake.
Captioning the post, he penned: “Such a beautiful weekend celebrating my 30th!! ❤️
“Feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate with my nearest and dearest around me & thank you all so much for the lovely messages, means the world!
“Roll on the 30’s! 😂🙌🏽 x”.
After sharing the post, Tony was inundated with well wishes from many of his 94,500 followers as well as his famous EastEnders castmates.
Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter, wrote: “Happy Birthday you absolute f**king hero of a man. ❤️”.
“Happiest of birthdays to the loveliest man in telly. Love you mate ❤️🙌” penned Natalie Cassidy, who plays Sonia Fowler.
Ash Kaur actress Gurlaine Kaur Garcha commented: “happy belated 30th!!!! ❤️❤️❤️”.
Tony made his EastEnders debut in January 2018 when he accidentally shot family friend Mick Carter during a botched heist.
During his initial spell on Albert Square, Callum quickly fell for Whitney and despite her reservations, she soon realised her feelings for him.
Tragically, Callum was called back to duty by the army yet the couple has continued their long-distance relationship.
However, he made his return to Walford at the end of April 2019 where fans watched as he struggled with his attraction to Ben Mitchell.
Tony was nominated for a British Soap Award for his portrayal of the character.
