Justin Timberlake teases N-Sync reunion at JC’s 40th birthday – and fans can’t contain their shock
The boy band are now all grown up and fans are still pining over their teen crushes
JUSTIN Timberlake has given fans a blast from the past as he reunited with the members of his former boy band N*Sync.
The five-piece, comprised of Justin, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick, became megastars in the late 90s and early 2000s with hits such as Pop! and It's Gonna Be Me.
Justin posted the pic on his Instagram and shocked fans with the announcement that the momentous occasion was to mark JC's 40th birthday.
The group looked as tight as ever despite splitting the band up in 2002.
One follower replied: "I am so dead right now. Just put in my nsync hits for like the next few days!!!!!"
Another teased: "When we were kids we were too young to date him but nowwwwww"
Since leaving the group, Justin has had a successful solo career and has since branched over into acting.
JC, who was also in the Mickey Mouse Club with Justin as a child, released two solo albums and now acts as a judge for US talent show America's Best Dance Crew.
Lance Bass came out as gay and married his long-term partner Michael Turchin in 2014.
Joey got married to Kelly Baldwin in 2004 and they have two children together - 6-year-old Kloey and 15-year-old Briahna.
Chris Kirkpatrick, now 44-years-old, was last seen in the limelight in 2008 as he took part in song-writing competition, Going Country.
Is it too quick to ask for a reunion tour...?
