Celebrity Big Brother fans disgust as 54 viewers complain to Ofcom after uncensored naked scenes with Marnie and toilet romp
Viewers were outraged by the sexually charged scenes on Monday night
CELEBRITY Big Brother’s “disgusting” episode on Monday night has so far prompted 54 Ofcom complaints from outraged viewers.
The X-rated scenes, which featured full frontal nudity and what appeared to be sex in the toilet, proved all too much for fans who have turned to the TV regulators.
Ofcom have stated they are assessing whether to launch an official investigation.
An Ofcom spokesperson tells us: “We have received 54 complaints about Celebrity Big Brother from last night. We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not.”
A breakdown of the complaints reveal that 34 came from Lewis and Marnie's shower scene, 10 for Stephen Bear's sexual advances and five for the general behaviour of housemates.
Saira's and Heavy D's "bullying" prompted one complaint each, with offensive language, sexual discussion and use of the word "psychopath" racking up a few more and taking the total to 54.
Following Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor’s sexually charged scenes in the shower, viewers took to Twitter to slam the “disgusting” show and compare it the “porn.”
Twitter user Priya Rajani wrote: “Anyone else feel a little sick watching today's #CBB? Get the 4 idiots..Bear, Chloe, Marnie and Lewis OUT! #Disgusting #Cheap”
Another outraged viewer added: “Am I watching Big Brother or porn? F***ing disgusting! These lassies are leaving nothing to the imagination. Have some respect.”
As Stephen Bear and Chloe Khan appeared to then romp in the toilet, viewers also blasted their apparent love making.
Mairead Hanlon vented: “Imagine having sex in a toilet on national tv, putting on the most tragic porn noises & then saying "naughty teddy bear" to top it of”
May Rene Joseph added: “#Channel5 is officially porn channel now guys!! How low can this series of #CBBUK go? #CBB”
