Hollyoaks star Parry Glasspool SUSPENDED after wielding knife and joking about domestic violence in shock video
The actor sparked fan backlash over the disturbing video
Parry Glasspool has been suspended from Hollyoaks – after posting a controversial video on Instagram.
The 24-year-old actor - who portrays student Harry Thompson on the Channel 4 soap - will miss two weeks of filming thanks to the video in which he appeared to joke about domestic violence while brandishing a knife.
Parry has also received a "substantial" fine, which is being donated to a domestic violence charity.
The actor has since deleted his social media accounts following fan backlash and has now apologised for the video - in which he pretended to be a jealous girlfriend recording a message for her partner - and insisted he does not condone domestic violence.
