You won’t believe how much the Towie girls have changed since the reality show first hit our TV screens
Since starting the ITVBe show, some of the girls have shown off a dramatically different look as they embraced their fame and got on trend over the years
IT has been a whopping six years since The Only Way Is Essex first hit our television screens.
As well as giving us a heap of catchphrases ('Well jel!') and blinged-up private parts (vajazzle, anyone?), the perma-tanned wannabes have since gone radical makeovers after hitting the limelight - here's some of the incredible makeovers of our favourite cast members.
Lauren Goodger
Lauren Goodger was dubbed the Queen of Essex thanks to her on-off relationship with Mark Wright.
Since ditching the tumultuous romance, the 29-year-old has undergone a jaw-dropping image overhaul.
Lauren, who had a £4,000 nose job in 2011, now sports a thinner frame - and face - after shedding four stone.
The selfie addict has previously denied having Botox and lip fillers, saying her new look is down to clever make-up tricks.
She told : “I can assure you that I haven't had anything done - it's just clever make-up.
"I bought a lip-plumping product from MAC that makes your lips look really full. The lipliner I had on also made them look fuller.”
Gemma Collins
Meme queen Gemma Collins decided to ditch her girl-next-door brown tresses for bold blonde locks.
The 34-year-old plus-size beauty has glammed up with fake lashes, smoky eye make-up and super-groomed eyebrows.
Gemma has remained faithful to her fake tan and continues to sport mahogany-hued skin.
The bubbly reality starlet, who famously got a 'designer vagina' on TV, recently denied experimenting with lip fillers.
Amy Childs
Amy Childs says she has "learned my lesson" when it comes to going under the knife.
The 26-year-old has experimented with a number of cosmetic enhancements, including a boob job and cheek and lip fillers.
The redhead admits she "got addicted" to surgery and she told that the pressure of being in the limelight led her to getting work done.
She said: "Me being a role model, with people loving TOWIE and everything, people look up to me and think 'to be like Amy, I've got to have big boobs' - but I want to reverse myself.
"I don't want to have them in anymore."
Jess Wright
Mark Wright's older sister Jess has barely aged a day since the show began.
The 30-year-old brunette appears to use clever make-up tricks to enhance her flawless complexion.
As well as having her teeth whitened, Ricky Rayment's exe appears to have had semi-permanent eyebrow tattoos, fake lashes and a spray tan.
Jess previously said that she has "categorically never had" fillers.
Lydia Bright
Blonde bombshell Lydia has dramatically toned down her looks since TOWIE began.
The 26-year-old prefers to rock the natural look these days, ditching the tan, caked-on make-up and false lashes.
James Argent's on-off beau has also opted for a less brassy hair colour.
Lydia hasn't ruled out having surgery in the future, telling Bang Showbiz: “I’m not completely against the idea because I think if you’re really upset about something, it can enhance your confidence.”
Sam Faiers
A lot has changed for Sam Faiers since she joined The Only Way Is Essex.
The 25-year-old has battled Crohn's disease, starred on Celebrity Big Brother and become a mum to baby Paul.
Like Lydia, Sam has slightly toned down her look, opting for a more natural hair colour and ditching the glittery eyeshadow.
The yummy mummy regularly shares make-up-free selfies online and has hit back at speculation that she has had an eye lift and fillers.
She said: "It's hurtful & not true."
Chloe Sims
Chloe Sims has always been open with fans about the work she has had done.
The 33-year-old mum-of-one has admitted having fillers, boob jobs and a butt lifts since appearing on the programme.
Chloe, who rocks platinum blonde locks, told that she wishes she'd kept her cosmetic work a secret.
She said: “I probably would have changed my hair and fashion sense when I first joined the show, and perhaps wouldn’t have been so open about my surgery as that got a bit of backlash.”
