Sarah Harding looks unrecognisable as she dons fishnets and pleather for Pride perfromance in Leeds
Her on-stage get up was similar to an outfit Britney Spears wore back in 2002
SARAH Harding looked unrecognisable when she took to the stage in fishnet tights and a sexy black leotard for her performance at Leeds Pride on Sunday night.
The Girls Aloud singer debuted a much raunchier look as as she sang next to a trio of backing dancers at the event.
The 34-year-old's get-up didn't look that dissimilar from one worn by Britney Spears back in 2002 at the MTV music awards.
Sarah gave it her all as she swung handcuffs and got up close and personal with her backing dancers for her sultry performance.
She sported knee-high stiletto boots, ripped fishnet tights, a black leotard with a cut out back, a feather capelet, some aviator sunglasses and a police cap as as she took to the stage.
Sarah belted out a string of hits and showed off her toned pins and pert derriere in an energetic dance routine.
The blonde singer wore a full face of make-up including heavy eye liner for the gig.
Bill Kenwright is taking a musical version of the Nineties movie on tour.
Speaking about her new role, Sarah said: “The film is one of my all-time favourites, so to get the opportunity to play Molly is a huge honour for me and I can’t wait to get started.”
Hollyoaks hunk Andrew Moss, 32, is taking the role made famous by the late Patrick Swayze – and the pair will re-create the iconic clay modelling scene.
It is Sarah’s first acting role since her controversial four-episode stint in Coronation Street last year, where she stared as Joni, the estranged wife of Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill).
Despite a brief solo music bid, Sarah, 34, is equally focused on developing her acting career.
She said: “It is pretty equal at the moment between acting and singing, they are side by side.
“I love my music but I love to think I have other options and paths available to me.
“I did train in acting when I was younger which a lot of people don’t know and for me it is nice to have another option, it mixes things up a little bit and keeps it interesting.
“These days it is good to be a bit of an all-rounder.”
