The deposition, which is related to domestic abuse allegations, was set to commence at 10am, but Amber and her lawyer Samantha Spector were seen arriving at 11.30am.

Amber, 31, is currently embroiled in one of the messiest Hollywood splits in recent memory with her soon-to-be ex-husband Johnny, 53.

She is set to be grilled by Johnny's legal team over allegations that he was violent towards her during their fifteen month marriage, with one example being that he threw an iPhone at her face, leaving her with bruises.

It is not known whether or not Johnny made an appearance to the hearing, after Amber was granted a restraining order against him following the allegations.

Sources told that the two legal teams attempted to get a settlement ahead of the hearing on Saturday, but negotiations fell apart on Friday evening.

As well as the domestic abuse allegations, the hearing is also said to cover the money Amber is requesting in the divorce.

Johnny recently refused to hand over his financial information until Amber signed a confidentiality agreement for fear that she would then leak the details to the press.

He reportedly said in court documents that he understands she is entitled to know about his current financial status in order to get her cut in the divorce, but he won’t budge until she signs a confidentiality agreement.

The documents allegedly state that so far, Amber has refused to do so.

Johnny, 53, and Amber, 31, are currently embroiled in one of Hollywood’s most bitter divorce battles after calling time from their marriage in May.

While initially citing ‘irreconcilable differences’, Amber later stated it was because of violent behaviour towards her from Johnny.

While Johnny hasn’t openly spoken about the divorce, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor modified a tattoo he had of Amber’s nickname ‘Slim’ to now read ‘scum’ across his knuckles.

Amber has since hit back at claims she was a gold digger blaming a ‘false and negative’ media campaign for diverting the public’s attention from her plight, and insisting she is a ‘victim’ of domestic violence.
