Twitter explodes as Christopher Biggins is kicked out of the Celebrity Big Brother house for shock comments about AIDS

TWITTER has exploded in response to Christopher Biggins being kicked out of the celebrity Big Brother house for his offensive remarks about AIDS and making a Nazi slur.

The 67-year-old entertainer was brought into the diary room to be told he had to leave the house after continuing to use offensive language and saying that AIDS is "a bisexual disease".

Many viewers were shocked by his comments with members of the LGBT community most disappointed by his remarks.

One viewer wrote: "Biggins is supposed to be a role model of the LGBT community. He's just let everyone in our community down with that #CBB."

Another added: "For goodness sake biggins!! Biphobia is NOT acceptable. So much for solidarity! #cbb."

Someone else said: "Biggins really does have a bee in his bonnet about bi sexuals, doesn't he!! Shocking attitude it really is!! #CBB."

However, many viewers were outraged that Mob Wives star Renee Graziano wasn't evicted as well even though she was involved in the conversation.

One wrote: "Renee played quite a big part in that conversation didn't she? #CBB."

Others thought it was unfair that Biggins was evicted from the house with viewers saying his comments were "blown out of proportion".

One fan wrote: "There's either more to this that they're not showing or they've purposely blown it out of proportion for the ratings! #cbbbiggins #cbb."

Another said: "Biggins wasn't malicious or trying to be purposefully aggressive and offensive to anyone. I just think this is so unfair. #cbb."

The panto star was evicted from the house after he made a highly offensive Nazi joke in front of Jewish housemate Katie Waissel, as well as sharing his upsetting views on bisexuality.

The final straw for CBB bosses was when he said AIDS was a "bisexual disease" while have a conversation with Renee.

He said: “Gays have been really badly treated and then suddenly came a period where gay people were respected, you could do things.

“I wouldn’t say overnight but then a killer disease came, which was attributed to homosexuals.

“I think it was a bisexual disease.”

He continued: “They gave it to kill of third world countries, it’s a manmade disease.”

And added: “They were lot of bisexuals, who went to those countries to have sex with those people and brought it back to their families.”
