Former WAG Cheryl shares throwback snap of Girls Aloud cheering on England as she roots for the Three Lions
CHERYL shared a sweet throwback snap of her Girls Aloud days as she cheered on England ahead of tonight's big game.
The singer, who recently celebrated her 38th birthday, took to Instagram to show the team some support.
The former WAG shared a photo of herself standing alongside bandmates Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh as they held up the English flag.
Cheryl captioned it with three lions and fans soon flocked to share their appreciation for the pic - and show their support for England too.
One fan declared: "ICONIC TBH!" while another wrote: "Now THIS makes me a football fan hun."
Another said: "My favourite girls. It’s coming home!"
And another person declared: "ICONS ALOUD!!! ITS COMING HOME CHEZ."
The throwback snap comes shortly after Cheryl celebrated her 38th birthday - and returned to social media.
Cheryl, who shares son Bear with her ex Liam Payne, gave fans a glimpse into her celebrations at her home in Buckinghamshire.
The star dressed in a casual nude blouse and donned gold accessories as she held onto a plate that had been decorated with the words 'Happy Birthday' in chocolate, alongside a pink cupcake topped with a candle
"Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes, I had the loveliest day," the former X Factor judge wrote to her fans.
The Girls Aloud star's famous pals also sent their best, including Towie's Jess Wright, who wrote: "Happy birthday beautiful."
Cheryl has been been keeping a low profile in recent months as she takes some time out to focus on herself.
The singer recently revealed she's been embracing the single life after learning how to be happy with herself.
She told : "I am learning that I can be absolutely fine without anybody, just me by myself.
"I'm learning to be happy just with me. I'm learning to turn to myself for advice. It's all in the process."
Discussing coming off line, she said: "The best thing that I've learned in the past year is having a break from social media is really, really healthy for your mind."
The star was also recently pictured with ex Liam for the first time in three years.
