Kerry Katona fans accuse her of taking a dig at the group after admitting she was ‘gutted’ to miss out on reunion
FORMER Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona admitted she would have loved to have reunited with her ex-bandmates after coming under fire on Instagram.
The 40-year-old singer posted a cheeky 'dig' at her co-stars after their heyday hit Whole Again has become an anthem again during the Euro 2020.
The pop band reunited to release a revamped version of the song titled Southgate You’re The One, a homage to England manager Gareth Southgate.
The trio, consisting of Natasha Hamilton, Liz McClarnon and Jenny Frost, performed the reworked hit on Loose Women yesterday.
Kerry took to her Instagram account to remind her fans of who the original trio were with a reposted Tiktok.
Kerry also shared a repost of her singing Atomic Kitten's revamped version of Whole Again with the caption "The OG".
She also commented under the original post, admitting she "Would have loved to be a part of it".
Earlier today, Kerry made another post to Instagram, which some fans saw as a dig at her former bandmates.
She posted a picture of Corrie legends, Gail Platt, Audrey Roberts and Rita Tanner with a cheeky caption "see Atomic Kitten have reformed for the Euros".
She followed the tongue-in-cheek post with the caption: "🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 couldn’t help it!"
"Just a light-hearted joke but wishing the girls all the best…… 🏴🏴🏴🏴 football coming home xxx".
One fan hit back, asking: "Which one is you, Kerry?! 🤪".
Another quipped that she was angry about not being invited for the reunion: "Someone a bit 🧂? (Salty) 😂".

The fan implied she was bitter as England fans have taken to singing the revamped version of the band's 2001 hit Whole Again during the Euro 2020.
She told OK!: “I was gutted not to be involved, but I’m really happy for the girls. I was never asked to be part of it – I don’t know why! But I get the feeling they don’t like me.”
Kerry added: “I wish them all the best – the more morale we have for England, the better. Come on England!”
