Eamonn Holmes appears to call Kate Moss’s boyfriend the C-word live on This Morning
Telly host Holmes appeared to call Kate Moss’s boyfriend the C-word live on TV – but blames his 'thick' Irish accent
THIS Morning host Eamonn Holmes shocked viewers when he appeared to call Kate Moss’s boyfriend the C-word live on telly.
The host was attempting to identify Count Nikolai von Bismarck in a holiday snap showing the supermodel posing between two men on the back of a boat during yesterday’s episode of This Morning.
He said: “The one on the right to me looks the Count. He just has that look about him.”
The sentence — delivered in Eamonn’s thick Northern Irish accent — caused showbiz segment presenter Rylan Clark-Neal to burst into a fit of giggles.
But viewers were less impressed and took to Twitter to voice their outrage.

One user named Callum Gillies said: “Did @EamonnHolmes just use the C word on live morning TV In the school holidays?!?!?!?!?.”
But Eamonn, 56, blamed the blooper on his thick Northern Irish accent.
A This Morning source said: “Eamonn was clearly referring to Nikolai’s title. He was calling him a Count — it was a simple dialect misunderstanding.”
Eamonn had been discussing Kate, 42, and Count Nikolai’s summer jaunt to Greece with pals including Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and Hong Kong tycoon Sir David Tang.
Ironically, 29-year-old Nikolai didn’t appear in the photo at all.
Eamonn found himself at the centre of more outrage when he was accused of showing no mercy after making a child genius cry on the show on Tuesday.
It was supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek quiz with Eamonn and his co-host wife Ruth Langsford, 56, pitted against child geniuses Stephen and Georgia — but critics didn’t take kindly when he teased the children over an incorrect answer.
He was branded a “nasty man” when Georgia looked closed to tears and the host chuckled: “I feel bad winning this now.”
