Steph Davis admits ex Jeremy McConnell’s partying ways ‘upset’ her as she faces up to life as a single mum
The star is trying to stay positive and look to the future
PREGNANT Stephanie Davis has confessed to having a meltdown this week over Jeremy McConnell’s partying.
The ex-Hollyoaks actress confessed that seeing Jeremy – who she maintains is the father of her baby - on the town made her feel over emotional.
The star had bared her heart in a series of late-night Snapchat videos on Sunday, saying the realities of being a single mum had hit her.
Writing in her OK! Blog, Steph explains: “It’s been an emotional week. As you may have seen on my Snapchat and Instagram I had a bit of a meltdown.
“I had a few days to myself to relax and wind down and it just gave me too much time to reflect.
“I’ve seen Jeremy has been going out a lot and it just all got to me and left me upset.”
The Irish model, who denies that he is the father, had posted several photos of himself partying, including a night out with Geordie Shore star Scotty T.
But Steph is trying not to let Jez’s antics get to her anymore.
The mum-to-be writes: “I’ve got lots of exciting things happening and I’m going to try and keep positive.”
The star also told of her joy at feeling her baby kick for the first time.
“It was just amazing,” she explained. “It felt exactly like a butterfly and then I was off crying again.”
Steph is getting excited for the future despite having an emotional week.
She explained that her meltdown had been triggered by bacon ribs.
In her Snapchat she explained: " This morning my mum said she’d made bacon ribs and I thought I was in heaven.. but it turns out she’d made pork ribs and had been boiling them in water all day.

“I was devastated, I just sat with my head in my hands.”
Steph continued: “I was having a bad day as all my friends have boyfriends/babies and are getting married and then there’s just me.
“I have just had a really tough pregnancy and I’ve been really really ill and I just really wanted someone to make me a cup of tea and make me a bacon butty."
Ever since announcing her pregnancy news, Steph has been given a rough time with Twitter trolls slamming her and accusing her of faking it.
She also came under fire after she was spotted drinking pints and smoking in recent weeks.
But the star is looking to the future and after buying her first home, she can't wait to get decorating the nursery.
She even joked she would decorate it with a bee theme because she loves the Snapchat bumblebee filter so much.
"But seriously, for the baby’s room, I really want to get a white 4-poster cot and then whatever the sex is, add the colour in," she added. "It will only be little bits of it. I want everything – I’m even thinking about a mural painting on one of the walls."
Steph first met Jeremy McConnell in January on Celebrity Big Brother and after a tumultuous on-off relationship the couple split a few months ago.
