Alanis Morissette post intimate ‘blissful’ moment of her breastfeeding newborn baby

The singer supports World Breastfeeding Week and shares snap of baby daughter Oynx Solace

SINGER Alanis Morissette has shared an intimate moment of her breastfeeding her newborn baby.

The Ironic hitmaker showed her support for World Breastfeeding Week as she posted the "blissful" snap of her daughter Oynx Solace.

Captioning the picture, Alanis, 42, said: "#worldbreastfeedingweek oxytocin connected-with-life bliss #connection #attachment"

The Canadian added the hashtags "#skinonskin" and "#illbeyourkeeperforlifeasyourguardian."

Praising Alanis for her online statement, one follower wrote: "Wonderful! Thanks for normalising breastfeeding."

While another added: "What a sweet moment!!! Love is in the air... Always."

Alanis, who married American hip-hop artist Mario 'Souleye' Treadway in 2010, is also mum to their five-year-old son Ever Imre.

They announced the arrival of their second child last month with a cute Instagram post.

As well as being a mother, Alanis is currently working on a book that is half memoir and half “reflections, insights, regrets, and just straight-up teaching”.
