ZENDAYA and her Spider-Man costar, Tom Holland, set the internet wild with dating rumors in 2017.
The couple, also called Tomdaya by fans, has been a fan-favorite celebrity couple since they first appeared together in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

When did Zendaya and Tom Holland start dating?
Zendaya and Tom Holland first sparked dating rumors in 2016 after starring in Spiderman: Homecoming together.
In 2017, an insider confirmed with People magazine that the two "started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man.
"They've been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye, but they've gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another."
The source added: "They're both really ambitious, and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth."
The pair shut down the rumors, however, and claimed that they were the "best of friends."
On July 1, 2021, The Sun then exclusively obtained photos of the pair kissing, which fans took as a confirmation that they are, in fact, a couple.
Months later, the pair became Instagram official when Holland uploaded a picture of them together for Zendaya's birthday, captioning the snap: "My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx"
In 2023, fans went into a frenzy when Zendaya posted a photo of herself with what looked like an engagement ring, but she quickly shut down all the assumptions.

"I can’t post anything, you guys. I posted it for my hat. Like not for the ring on my right hand, you guys, seriously," she said.
“You think that’s how I would drop the news? You think, like, what.”
Have Zendaya and Tom Holland appeared in other movies together?
The pair acted together in all three Spiderman movies: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
As of this writing, it's unclear whether they'll star in another film together again.

Zendaya and Holland both make an effort to keep their relationship on the down low, which they both admit isn't easy.
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” Holland told .
“We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers."
Zendaya shared the same sentiment, telling that both of them have learned how to tread the balance between indulging fans and keeping things private.
