Lauren Goodger comes across all shy as she leaves the gym after admitting she’s put on weight

LAUREN Goodger looked like a woman with something to hide as she hid her face from the paparazzi during a recent outing.

The former TOWIE star was pictured making her way to her car in an all-black leisure ensemble, but after spotting the waiting photographers, she quickly put her large purse up in front of her face.

With her hair pulled up in a high top knot, Lauren seemed to have kept her makeup minimal for the outing, but it's unknown if that was the reason for her covering her face.

Her shyness comes as the 29-year-old admitted to having a dip in confidence after gaining some of the weight she lost earlier this year because of her Pop Tart obsession.

Lauren had dropped four stone and five dress sizes ahead of the release of her DVD, Lauren's OMG! Workout, but revealed to new! magazine her sweet tooth had caused her to gain a few pounds.

She said: "If I want something sweet I’ll have dates and yoghurt. But I’m addicted to Pop Tarts!

“I’m not as skinny as I was when I released my DVD at the start of the year, but I’m certainly not as big as I was either!

“I don’t care about having to be a size 8, it’s about how I feel.”

Lauren thinks she is now closer to a size 12, and showed off her curves in her clinging black ensemble as she left a petrol station, but she added to new! that she planned to get back on track with her fitness regime.

“Over the past four to six weeks I barely trained at all because I was ill and was busy living my life and seeing my mates. It wasn’t my main priority.

Yes, I've gained a few pounds but everyone fluctuates in weight - even Victoria's Secret models!"

Detailing her new stricter diet, she said: "I'm now cutting down on carbs and watching my portion sizes.

"I'm also cutting out chocolate - it's my vice."
