Gemma Collins in emotional tribute to her dad saying she’s ‘so lucky he pulled through’ after Covid infection nightmare
GEMMA Collins has paid an emotional tribute to her father after he fought back from coronavirus hell, saying she's "lucky" to have him.
Filming Alan as he made her breakfast on Thursday morning, the former The Only Way Is Essex star was full of adoration for her dad.

Alan, 73, fought coronavirus last year and said he would "rather be dead" during the horrific ordeal - but has since made a full recovery.
He got busy in the kitchen as daughter Gemma, 40, filmed him making her poached eggs, avocado and ham for her breakfast.
"What a gentleman my dad is," the Diva Forever star could be heard saying in the background. "Making me breakfast before I go to work."
Alongside a sweet snap of Alan in his work uniform, Gemma continued: "We was so lucky that my dad pulled through."

She went on to film him kissing mum Joan, 65, who was also rushed to hospital with pneumonia last year, goodbye as he left for work.
Earlier this year, Gemma heartbreakingly opened up about how her dad “isn’t the same man” due to his “distressing” battle with long Covid.
Alan tested positive for coronavirus just before Christmas, saying he would "rather be dead" as he fought for his life in hospital.
He was out just in time for Gemma’s 40th birthday but is still living with the symptoms months on, much to his daughter's heartbreak.

Gemma told new! magazine: “He’s got long Covid. He’s not the same man he was before he went into hospital.
“He’s very tired, he gets weak, he gets out of breath and still coughs a lot.”
She added: “It’s really distressing, but we’re just so grateful he’s alive and hopefully he will come through the long Covid.”

Gemma previously described Covid as “ripping through her family”, but said that him coming out of hospital was the best birthday present after fears he wasn’t going to make it.
She said on her podcast of his "miracle" recovery: “My dad comes home this week, so it's the best birthday I could wish for.
"Yes, I can’t have the party that was planned. That's not going to happen but it doesn’t matter because my dad has survived Covid."
