Emmerdale viewers go crazy as Cain and Charity finally reunite with a sneaky sofa snog

EMMERDALE viewers were split tonight as Charity Tate and Cain Dingle finally reacted on the simmering chemistry between them.

While some fans of the soap were ecstatic that the pair finally had a snog, others were still firmly in the "Team Moira" camp.

It all started when Cain found out that wife Moira's daughter Holly has been involved with a drug dealer and that she also had a hand in Victoria being beaten up.

He also found out that Moira had tried to sort it out with the drug dealer, but was accidentally stabbed with a needle and is waiting to be told whether she is HIV positive. Cain also asked whether that was the reason that she was avoiding having sex with him.

The Emmerdale hardman then made his wife choose between him and her daughter. Moira refused to give up hope on Holly so he took that as her picking her daughter over him.

With a bruised ego, he got chatting to Charity in The Woolpack.

The blonde said: "Just admit it, you still love her don't you?"

He responded: "I would if she didn't let Holly walk all over her!"

She snarkily commented: "Hm, playing second fiddle to a junkie, it's hardly Mills and Boon is it?"

Cain then turned to stare deeply into her eyes and smirk: "So you up for it or what?"

She scoffed: "Smooth chat up line".

He said: "I know you want me."

And it seemed like she did - and they both indulged in a passionate kiss. That is, until Chas walked in and stopped them.

"Chain" fans were positively thrilled with tonight's episode and celebrated with emoji fireworks.

One wrote: "Cain and Charity ???????????? Been waiting ages #emmerdale".

Another commented: "I'm all for charity and Cain, finaaaaaalllyyyy????????????????????#emmerdale".

A Twitter user called them a "perfect devious couple".

One fan tweeted about the obvious "chemistry between Cain and Charity".

But "Coira" fans were fuming.

One upset viewer wrote: "Cain and Moira are splitting in Emmerdale. Can't tweet how unhappy I am. #Emmerdale"

Another calmly commented: "@xxsiobhanamyxx @Love4Coira What?????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ????????????????????????????????"

But how long will "Chain" last? Will Cain go back to Moira? And will Moira take him back after finding out about their sneaky snog?
