‘He’ll do it eventually’: James Corden reveals that Kanye West TWICE cancelled his Carpool Karaoke appearance
The TV host said the rapper sent him roses to apologise
JAMES Corden has revealed that Kanye West TWICE cancelled an appearance on his Carpool Karaoke segment.
With the likes of Adele, Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder and even the First Lady herself Michelle Obama taking part, you’d have thought Kanye would have been in that passenger seat like a shot.
But the rapper bailed twice on Corden, who insisted he will eventually do it.
Speaking to GQ, James said: “Kanye has been booked to do [it] twice now but both times something came up. He’ll do it eventually. He wants to do it."
James also revealed that Yeezy did apologise and sent him three dozen red roses, ‘in the shape of a cube’ to say sorry.
What could be more than that?” Corden said in the interview.
Carpool Karaoke, which James introduced when he took over as host of US chat show The Late Late Show, has become hugely popular.
A range of A-list celebs have taken part in the segment which see James driving around picking up celebs who then go for a drive and a sing-a-long with him, usually belting out one of their songs.

Stars such as Adele, One Direction, Chris Martin, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Mariah Carey are just a few big names who have been good sports and taken part.
Last week, fans of the show were left gobsmacked after James managed to get a very, very special guest in his car – First Lady Michelle Obama.
She jumped in an asked him if he wanted to “go for a spin” as they drove round the compound of the White House singing Beyonce’s Single Ladies, complete with the hand movements from the dance routine.
Missy Elliot then made an appearance in the back seat as the three of them sung her hit track Get Your Freak On.
