Gary Beadle reveals he will quit Geordie Shore for new life in Australia

It appears Gaz's time on the Toon is limited from now on as he sets up a new life in the sun

GEORDIE Shore’s Gaz Beadle has revealed his plans to quit the MTV show in just 18 months, following his five year stint as a leading cast member.

After recently revealing he was house hunting in Australia, the 27-year-old reality star opened up about his future plans exclusively to The Sun Online earlier this week.

When asked directly if he was swapping Newcastle for a new life in the sun, he told us: “I mentioned it in one interview when [I was] asked what I’d do when I finish Geordie Shore and yeah, I will move to Australia.”

Discussing exactly when he plans on quitting the show and moving Down Under, he added: “It won’t be for a year or year and a half.”

Following our exclusive interview with Gaz, he flew to Australia for a short trip where he tweeted "finally I am free" upon landing.

He admitted: “I’ve saved the money I’ve earned from the show. It’s all about saving.

"I’ve just bought a nightclub as an investment. Altogether I’ve got three businesses. I’m looking at investing other ­money in ­properties as well.

“That way if this all ends in two years’ time, I’ll know I can kick back and enjoy what I’ve got. I’m nearly a ­millionaire. People ­underestimate us but I think we’re proving them wrong.”

Gary has been a leading cast member on Geordie Shore since it first hit our screens in 2011.

His on/off relationship with co-star Charlotte Crosby has made headlines globally during this time, with Gary also starring on other MTV shows such as Ex On The Beach.

Ex on the Beach starts Tuesday August 16 at 10pm on MTV.
