The fiery scenes caused a frenzy on Twitter after Lee had kept the beauty in the dark
EASTENDERS' Whitney Dean may have Chlamydia but she no longer has a boyfriend after sensationally DUMPING Lee Carter when she found out he had given her the STI which he contracted when he cheated on her.
Fiery scenes aired tonight showed the mum-to-be (Shona McGarty) left furious after discovering her man had bedded Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) in a one-night stand - and picked up the infection from her.
Throughout the action-packed episode fans had firmly sided with Whitney, taking to Twitter to say she "deserves better" than a bloke who kept her in the dark.
After directly challenging the blonde, Whitney screamed: "Get out before I smash your face in!"
She then called Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) in from the market for a emotional showdown where she chucked a vase of flowers at his face.
She squealed: "How could you make me think it was my fault?
"I've tried so hard to forget the past and you knew that and still you let me taker the blame."
Afte he tries to quieten her down, she raged: "What you worried about? your mum's going to realise what a pathetic excuse she has for a son?"
After protesting he loved her, Lee's dad Mick (Danny Dyer) arrived.
With a steely glint in her eye Whitney calmly told them: "Lee had Chlamydia, not me
"He got it because he cheated on me with Abi, of all people.
"It's OK Mick she's welcome to him
"We're over."
Telly addicts - who had been voicing their support for Whitney on social media - were then sparked into a social media frenzy.

One EastEnders fan posted: "Whitney is one girl you don't want to face when she is angry!!!" and one uploaded the simple statement: "Whitney deserves better."
