Grant Bovey and James Whale are the first up for eviction on Celebrity Big Brother

GRANT Bovey and James Whale are the housemates to be put up for nomination on Celebrity Big Brother. 

Grant was nominated by Frankie, Biggins, James, Saira, Ricky, Aubrey, Katie and Renee.

When Frankie Grande nominated Grant he said: "He likes to be more isolated."

He later added: "I would feel more comfortable if we were a more cohesive unit."

Katie Waissel nominated him for similar reasons, citing that he "keeps himself to himself"

Christopher Biggins however, used the opportunity to defend his friend on the outside, Grant's ex Anthea.

He said:"Anthea, his wife, was a good friend of mine and I think she was treated quite badly by him."

The news of Grant's nomination will upset Marnie Simpson - who over the past few days has been flirting with the older man and even discussed having an affair with him to Big Brother.

Meanwhile, James's straight-talking and apparently lack of desire to be in the house were the main reasons that he was put up for the vote.

James received the most nominations and received 11 votes

He was voted for by Frankie, Lewis, Chloe, Grant, Marnie, Renee, Ricky, Aubrey, Katie, Bear and Heavy D.

When Grant put him up for the vote, he said: "If you don't care when you go home don't come in the first place.

"If you don't care, then you don't deserve to be here."

Heavy on the other hand, nominated him as he felt it would be beneficial to him to get him out now - as he thought he might stand a chance of winning.

Katie Waissel and Frankie Grande received one nomination each.

Marnie Simpson, Ricky Norwood and Renee Graziano received two nominations each.

Stephen Bear received three nominations.

Saira Khan, Heavy D and Lewis Bloor had previously earned their immunity alongside Christopher Biggins as part of a secret task in the first three days.

Biggins was tasked to tell Big Brother who to nominate using a series of code actions - including spilling a glass of water over Lewis and serenading Heavy D with Tina Turner classic Simply the Best.
