James Argent shows off 5.5 stone weight loss as he rides his Vespa in Essex
JAMES Argent showed off his 5.5 stone weight loss as he rode his new Vespa around Essex.
The reality star beamed as he took his new vehicle for a spin on Tuesday after his old one was written off.
James donned a baby blue hoodie, which had 'Love is Love' written on the back, and matching shorts as he drove his 2021 special edition mustard yellow Vespa scooter.
His colour coordinated outfit was completed with a blue helmet and yellow crocs.
The 33-year-old's down time comes on the back of announcing he's lost an impressive five-and-a-half stone just two months after having gastric sleeve surgery.
Taking to Instagram, Arg wrote: "Back on solid foods 🙌🏼 I'm Delighted with the results, 5 1/2 Stone weight loss so far!
"Thanks to the team @wearetransform who have been guiding me on the how to integrate solids back into my diet.
"I’m aiming to stick to nutritionally packed foods as part of a well balanced diet to help me reach my weight loss goals ❤️"
Arg shocked fans when he admitted he had ballooned to almost 27 stone during lockdown, saying he swapped a drink and drug addiction for junk food when Covid closed gyms and pools.
The Sun exclusively revealed that Arg had the surgery to help him lose 11 stone and save his life.
Now he hopes to slim down to 16st after having half his stomach removed during the £10,000 procedure.

James needed to get a new Vespa after he was involved in an accident driving the old one last month.
The TV personality as left with cuts and bruises and the battered moped was later deemed to be an insurance write-off.
That was not Argent's only accident as he previously fractured his shoulder in October 2018 following a collision.
