Eamonn Holmes admits that he flirts with other women than Ruth Langsford – but says marriage is rock solid

EAMONN Holmes has opened up about his marriage to This Morning co-star Ruth Langsford.

The presenter admitted that while he was an "outrageous flirt", he can't wait to grow old with his other half.

Ruth and Eamonn, both 56, have been married since 2010 and have been in a relationship for 20 years.

The cheeky presenter thanks their ability to keep each other laughing, as well as mutual respect, is the key to their success.

: "Humour has also kept me married. If I can make Ruth laugh then I’m out of jail. I get to work with the person I love."

“I’m an outrageous flirt but we’re safe as houses. We could not be happier, or more secure, in our marriage.”

Together the couple have 14-year-old son Jack as well as Eamonn's three other children from a previous marriage.

During their time on This Morning, they have become known for their witty banter which often involves petty squabbles between the pair.

He added:"Neither of us wears the trousers - in fact I like it when Ruth doesn't wear any trousers at all."

"But whatever happens, Ruth and I will be growing old together. I tell her, ‘Ruth, no one will ever love you as much as I do’."

Ruth feels the same way, but previously said: "If I found out he had cheated that would be the end of our marriage. That would be goodbye."
