SHAUN Williamson's BBC One soap character Barry Evans may have met a grisly end in EastEnders back in 2004 but now he is getting revellers into the footie spirit by belting out 'banging tunes'.
The 55-year-old British actor, who was killed off the soap after appearing in 725 episodes by his wife Janine who shoved him off a cliff, has been busy singing his heart out as England's first game of the Euro 2021 kicked-off.
Ahead of England's game against Croatia he appeared on stage at Croydon's Box Park where he belted out the national anthem.
He then gave a serenading performance of the song Mustang Sally and Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.
Onlookers and fans watching a viral video couldn't believe what they were seeing or how good Shaun is.
One said: "That Barry from #eastenders can bang out a tune."
Another wrote: "Well done Croydon."
"Shaun Williamson is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs," said a third.
England won 1-0 thanks to Raheem Sterling who scored his first major tournament goal in the 57th minute.
Shaun first appeared in EastEnders as Barry in 1994 and had many storylines but it was his death that was his most tragic.
After falling in love and marrying his employee Janine Butcher he soon discovers she only wed him because she thought he was dying and was only after his money.
Once Janine found out Barry wasn't dying, they went on a walk and she shoved him which resulted in him falling off a cliff and hitting his head.
The injury caused instant death and Janine walked away inheriting the car dealer's estate while his son Jack got nothing.
