Inside Perrie Edwards’ baby shower with huge gazebo, sharing platters and four-tier cake
PERRIE Edwards gave a glimpse into her stylish baby shower as she prepares to welcome her first baby.
The Little Mix songstress, 27, is expecting her tot with footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and pulled out all the stops for the special bash.
Touch singer Perrie enlisted the help of Bubblegum Balloons to create a stunning display at the entrance to her gazebo.
Featuring a huge cuddly teddy bear seated in a mock hot air balloon, it was surrounded by inflatables in blue, pink and tan colours - not giving any hint as to the baby's sex.
Meanwhile huge white balloons of differing sizes were the perfect colour match for the sophisticated white tent.
Former X Factor star Perrie made sure her guests were well fed with picture-perfect platters stuffed with met, cheese and veg.
For dessert, it was all about the sweet treats with trays filled with teddy bear biscuits, Ferrero Rocher chocolates and wrapped sweets.
Mini Victoria sponge cake and cookies also nestled on the plate while a host of beige coloured macaron again swerved away from giving any clues as to the baby's sex.
Yet the centrepiece was an epic four-tier sponge, with lemon coloured icing and adorned with flowers.
An 'Oh Baby' cake topper stood proudly on the top tier.
Meanwhile, fruit platters were on-hand for those who didn't have a sweet tooth, and the dining tables were covered with vases of stunning white tulips and roses.
A balloon emblazoned with the words "Baby O" hung in the garden outside to complete the special celebrations.
Last month, Perrie stunned Little Mix fans when she revealed she is pregnant.
She announced the happy news on Instagram with a close-up picture of her baby bump.
She wrote: "So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate
"Me + Him = You 🌎♥️
"We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!"
Liverpool and England midfielder Alex, 27, joked he was in need of parenting advice, writing: "Anyone got any advice on how to change nappies? 😅 so grateful and excited to become a dad ❤️ bring on the sleepless nights 🤪."

The news came just days after Perrie's bandmate Leigh-Anne confirmed she and footballer boyfriend Andre Gray are expecting.
