FORMER Page 3 model Sam Fox has been announced as one of this year's Celebrity Big Brother contestants.
First appearing on The Sun's Page 3 aged sixteen, Sam has come a long way since her glamour modelling days.
However Celebrity Big Brother is not Sam's first appearance on the reality TV circuit, having appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap, Come Dine With Me and I'm a Celebrity.

How old is she?
Sam Fox celebrated her 50th birthday in April this year.
Where is she from?
The former glamour model hails from Mile End, East London.
How did she become famous?
In 1982 at the age of just sixteen, Samantha Fox's mother submitted photos of her daughter in her lingerie to be considered for the The Sunday People's amateur modelling contest.
Fox placed 2nd out of over 20,000 entries.
This saw her picked up by The Sun's page 3, and during her career she was awarded 'Page 3 Girl of the Year' three times.
At the age of 20, Fox retired from Page 3 modelling to pursue a career in the music industry.
She enjoyed success with a number of hits including: Touch Me and I Wanna Have Some Fun.
What else do we know about her?
In 2003 Sam made a statement in relation to her sexuality.
"People say I'm gay....I don't know what I am. All I know is that I'm in love with Myra [Stratton, my manager].
I love her completely and want to spend the rest of my life with her."
Samantha and Myra were in a relationship for many years until her partner sadly passed away following a two year battle with cancer.
The Sun recently revealed a new interest in Sam's life, Norwegian mother of twins Linda Birgitte Olsen.

No stranger to the reality TV circuit, Sam is likely to be a popular hit with viewers.
Following her success in I'm a Celebrity's Bushtucker trials we can expect Fox to get involved during the Celebrity Big Brother house tasks.
