She said: "I've actually had three kidnap threats. One million pound ransoms and stuff. Scotland Yard actually knocked at my door - they knew exactly what was going to happen.

"And the last time it happened, they even slept outside my door. They knew the people were going to do it... they knew how they were going to get into the house... The first time it happened.... It was really serious to the point that the kids had to be followed to school because these people were going to follow me stop the car and take Harvey for a £1million ransom."

Katie went on to explain that the latest plot came to light very recently as a tracking device was found on her car during a routine service.

Katie took her vehicle to a garage and the mechanic discovered a suspicious device attached to the frame.

It was later found to be an electronic tracking device, and the police were called in.

They took the car and the gadget away for inspection, and Katie has yet to have the vehicle returned to her.

She said: "This wasn't that long ago my car went to be serviced and they phoned my mum up and and took pictures and said we've found this tracker on Kate's car so then the police had my car..."

Katie put on a brave face as she spoke about the terrifying subject, but insisted she still does not feel safe.

She said: "The thing is, if they're going to get you then they're going to get you...

"You can buy all the security you want. I've got panic buttons and everything like that. But if something did happen, by the

time the police would be able to get to my house, they would have already got me."
