Gemma Collins reveals dramatic collapse and violent vomiting left her in bed for DAYS after being ‘poisoned’ by lunch
GEMMA Collins has revealed her terrifying experience with food poisoning which left her in bed for DAYS.
The 40-year-old reality star opened up to fans about dramatically collapsing and suffering with violent bouts of vomiting after being "poisoned".

Speaking on this week, the GC detailed the horrifying situation which was "just her luck", stopping her from going out after the UK coronavirus restrictions eased.
"I took a break from the podcast last week as I've been quite poorly," she said. "I literally couldn't even speak, but I'm slowly getting back on my feet.
";I would love to give you some exciting gossip about my week last but literally I was so unwell that I could not get out of my bed.
"I had a really awful sinus infection and it was just a really awful week - I had the funeral of my dear friend that passed away."

After trying to "get back to normal" following her infection, Gemma went for some lunch with a friend that saw her "poisoned".
"Three hours later I collapsed on my kitchen floor and was being so violently sick and all the rest that goes with it - I won't go into detail," the former The Only Way Is Essex star added.
"I was poisoned - I had food poisoning. It was absolutely awful and my whole body just got so run down recently that I had to listen to my body.
"I had to rest. It was awful, I had to cancel all my work and I was really looking forward to getting back to work this week - but I cancelled all of my work and just allowed my body to heal.";

The star went on to detail how it "seemed to go on forever" as she continued to not feel any better - and required an at-home nurse to help her.
"I had to get a nurse to come to my house but literally I was sick for days on end, it was just not going," Gemma said.
"My mum and dad came over because they got really worried and I just want to thank them so much for helping me.
"My whole body, it was like an alien was inside it that was just dying to come out - it was absolutely awful."

Gemma, who has recently rebranded herself as a 'fitness queen', explained how she was unable to do any exercise while she remained unwell.
"It was just my luck, just when the restaurants opened, just when I stopped moaning about catching a cold, I then got food poisoning," Gemma concluded.
"You couldn't write it, but nothing ever runs smoothly with me."
It comes after Gemma showed off her trimmer waist following her staggering weight loss in a black fringe bikini.

Enjoying the hot weather earlier this week, the GC soaked up the sun by a swimming pool and told fans she was feeling "body confident".
Last week, it was revealed that the GC is selling off her old size 26 clothes for bargain prices after losing three-and-a-half stone in weight.
The star has also launched her own fitness range and plans to release an app so fans can follow her plans.
It came as Gemma revealed she has split from on-off boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent and is back with ex Rami Hawash, 45.

However, she told The Sun that fans should not to get their hopes up after they were spotted having a cosy dinner together.
She said of the romance: "Me and Rami is nothing serious. He is a lovely guy and I am just having some fun.

“We’re not properly dating, we’re not getting married. We’re just friends and we occasionally go out for dinner. It isn’t serious, it’s fun.
“I’ve had a tough time in the past and Rami has been a great support. We have a great time together and that’s all there is to it.”
