‘Love you kid’: Vicky Pattison is reunited with Alex Cannon by phone hours after his Big Brother eviction
Their private chat also came after she confessed her love for her best friend
VICKY Pattison and Alex Cannon were reunited by phone last night just hours after he was evicted from the Big Brother house.
The best friends had a long and private chat after he left the reality show in a double eviction with fellow contestant Sam Giffen.
The pair took to Twitter to tell their fans they had been over the moon to chat to each other for the first time in over a month.
But whether Vicky confessed her love for him after revealing she had “extreme, intense” feelings for her handsome friend, remains to be seen.
Just after 1am this morning, Vicky tweeted: “Devastated that has been evicted but beyond proud of him and everything he had achieved! Best phonecall ever… Love you kid.”
And the Liverpudlian heartthrob immediately responded – and with the cutest hashtag: “Ah man so good to speak to you again haven't laughed like that in weeks. Back at it, let's go babe .”
Yesterday, Vicky, 28, confessed that her feelings for Alex, also 28, ran deeper than friendship but was too scared to admit it to him.
Vicky and Alex have been friends for years and starred together on MTV reality show Judge Geordie.
The former Geordie Shore star told OK! Magazine: “There’s no man I’ve ever loved like Alex. He’s an incredible person. He’s one of those people who’s good for the soul. He makes me better.

Vicky has mentioned in the past that she didn’t want to take things to the next level because she doesn’t want to risk not having her “soulmate” in her life.
She added: “‘The truth is I’ve never been in love. I thought I had in past relationships but it was probably lust or convenience. So I don’t know if my feelings for Alex are just the really extreme, intense bond of a friendship, or whether I’m actually in love with him.”
The queen of the jungle added that she was worried about risking the “best friendship” she’s ever had: “It’s so much of a gamble.”
And last month she told The Sun Online that she was prepared to commit arson if she saw him get it on with any of his BB housemates, adding: “I would set the house on fire.”
