Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher and wife Liz Marsland reveal their baby joy and soap heart-throb can’t wait to be a dad
Parents-to-be think their first child was conceived on their wedding night after romantic wedding in London
EMMERDALE star Kelvin Fletcher and his actress wife Liz Marsland have shared their joy as they await the birth of their first child.
The parents-to-be, who wed last November, revealed they think Liz got pregnant on the couple’s wedding night.
Kelvin, 32, told magazine: “We then flew to Rome for three nights. Little did we know, there were three of us on our honeymoon!”
He added: “The day I found out Liz was pregnant and our wedding day were the most amazing days of my life.”
The couple, who have been together for ten years, got engaged in November 2014 during a romantic holiday in Wales.
They tied the knot a year to the day later at London’s One Mayfair and found out Liz was expecting the weekend after the wedding.
Kelvin revealed they waited until Christmas Day to tell his parents, after giving his mum a candle and his dad a pair of socks.
He said: “We told them we’d got them both another present, but it wasn’t going to be ready for nine months. They looked at each other and then cried their eyes out.”
