‘TV has reached a new low’: Naked Attraction blasted by horrified viewers as they watch strangers strip off
While some people love the idea... others were a little more prudish
JUST when we thought we had seen it all on TV – Channel 4 brings out a new dating show with a very interesting concept.
Naked Attraction – hosted by Anna Richardson – sees potential partners get naked while a lucky singleton picks who they fancy most.
And as it aired this evening for the first time the British public were left horrified, squirming and questioning the state of TV shows.
Even Helen Wood – the woman known for her being very open-minded – was left recalling at the site of penis’ on her screen.
She gasped: “Oh, my, dear God, casually just flicked through the tele ???? what the hell is this? #ch4 #nakedattraction.”
Others were just as shocked, with one viewer questioning: “Is this actually for real!!! ???????????? #nakedattraction”
Another remarked: “ I'm pretty sure the End Days are close at hand #nakedattraction.”
Some made light of who they were watching the cringe-inducing show with.
“Watched #nakedattraction with 75 yr old aunt & 20 yr old son. Guess who was most embarrassed? No idea, I was too busy laughing!,” remarked one.
While others were simply disgusted – one man stated: “TV has just stooped to a new low. Ch4 ”
“Tv entertainment has just hit an all time low ???? #nakedattraction,” tweeted another.
Even the show’s host Anna Richardson, who is in a relationship with Sue Perkins, recognised it might not be the most easy watching.
She tweeted during the programme: “Oh no...my Dad has decided to tune into #NakedAttraction. He's a vicar...”
And later added: “My Mum has gone very VERY quiet...#NakedAttraction.”
Other viewers weren’t quite so prudish though and loved the openness of it all.
“These people have incredible body confidence. We should all be comfortable in our own skin @AnnaRichardso doing fab job too #nakedattraction,” wrote one lady.
Another added: “Love this show embrace being naked! Stop being a prude its normal!! #nakedattraction.”
