SAM Giffen and Alex Cannon have been booted out of the Big Brother house in one final cruel twist.

Big Brother revealed the shock double elimination during the mean Twisted Carnival task.

In scenes aired tonight, the housemates were surprised by a fun-looking carnival in the garden.

One-by-one, Zoltar several contestants up to hear what the public thought of them.

The creepy fortune teller called Jackson and Andy up to the chairs and crowned them the "most memorable housemates", as voted by the public.

Zoltar then pulled Jayne and Jason onto the thrones and hailed them the "least happy housemates".

However when it got to Sam and Alex's turn there was a cruel twist - and the pair were named the least popular and were immediately ejected from the house.

The public have been voting for their winner, with voting frozen since Friday.

Not too many will be surprised at Alex's exit, having been previously voted by the public as the most forgettable housemate by the public.
