EASTENDERS star Jessie Wallace left a bizarre comment on co-star Max Bowden's Instagram post last night.
The 49-year-old actress - who plays Kat Slater in the BBC soap - typed the cryptic message beneath her pal's latest photo.
Ben Mitchell actor Max, 26, had shared a throwback photo from his night at the National Television Awards two years ago, and he looked rather dapper in a tweed suit.
The star captioned the shot: "Been a lifetime since this photo 😬😬�� #ntas"
Showing her approval, Jessie replied with what appeared to be an inside joke, writing: "Remember… if you need a m***e to cry on…. I’m yer gal 😉"
Fans who spotted the remark were convinced she was chatting him up, as one said: "@jessie.wallace_official 😂😂😂😂 Supportive m***e 😂😂😂 I’m defiantly using this as a pick up line. Cheers Jess.😂😂😂😂"
Another said: "@jessie.wallace_official we need more Kat, Ben & Phil scenes ❤️"
Max has yet to like or reply to Jessie's comment.
Meanwhile, other fans remembered the night at the NTAs for when he lost out on the Best Newcomer gong.
One person raved: "I loved that suit and you should have won!!!"
That night, Max's co-star Natalie Cassidy shouted "f**k off!" when he missed out on the best newcomer award.
The Sonia Fowler actress heckled Coronation Street's Peter Ash after talented Max was left empty-handed.
Later, Max refused to stand up and was seen clapping slowly as Emmerdale won the Best Soap award.
