Ben Mitchell takes vengeance against boyfriend Paul Coker’s killers as EastEnders’ homophobia storyline gets even darker
Will a distraught Ben take matters into his own hands?
IT'S been a tough week on Albert Square following the shocking death of Ben Mitchell's boyfriend Paul Coker but now things are set to take a dark turn on EastEnders.
When the police investigation stalls, a distraught Ben decides to take matters into his own hands to avenge Paul's death.
Ben is under increasing pressure in tomorrow night's episode when police want him to identify someone they have in custody following the homophobic attack last week.
When he can't formally recognise the suspect, Ben is left feeling helpless.
However, later on he spots one of the attackers sitting in a car outside the police station and his close pal Johnny Carter quickly pulls out his phone to get a snap of the number plate.
When Ben arrives home, he explains to Phil what happened and that the police no longer have any suspects in custody.
Phil struggles to be supportive and Ben grows more frustrated with DC Rice explains that they don't have enough evidence so the only suspect is now out on bail.
Johnny grows worried about Ben and tries to intervene but Ben has already decided to take matters into his own hands.
