Corrie boss reveals Cobbles will be rocked by raunchy cheating scandals
There will be heartache ahead with Aidan Connor and Steve McDonald at the centre of two love triangles
CORONATION Street is to be rocked by raunchy cheating scandals.
Aidan Connor and Steve McDonald will be at the centre of two love triangles.
Meanwhile David Platt will seek revenge for the death of his wife Kylie Turner.
The bombshell storylines were revealed today by the ITV show’s new boss Kate Oates during a special question and answer session.
Steve only has to look at a woman and she’s pregnant. He's gone from not necessarily wanting any more children to potentially fathering two
She declared: “No soap is complete without a good love triangle.”
Factory boss Aidan, played by former X Factor winner Shayne Ward, will have a one-night stand with hairdresser Maria Connor behind the back of girlfriend Eva Price.
Shayne, 31, said: “It’s like two bottles of wine on a school night.
“I mean Maria has been part of the family for so long, he does feel awkward about it and it definitely shouldn’t have happened.”
Oates added: “We have got Aidan who has had his one night-stand with Maria and he’s regretted it and she hasn’t quite so much.”
Rovers Return landlord Steve, played by Simon Gregson, gets girlfriend Michelle Connor pregnant — as well as Leanne Battersby after another one-night stand.
