HE’S become the most famous maître d’ in the country thanks to his starring role on Channel Four’s First Dates, but Fred Sirieix has been keeping a secret.

The French man has been hiding his sexy six pack away since finding fame on the hit TV show – and has become quite the fitness fanatic.

In our throwback snap, a clean shaven Fred looks virtually unrecognisable in an ill fitted suit. Since then, the smooth star seems to have found himself a stylist and grew his now famous face fuzz.

Talking of his fitness routines, Fred has previously admitted to completing a gruelling 306 press-ups a day as well as cycling to and from work.

He admitted: “‘I like to think I’m more of a lover. You’ve got to love to fight, and fight for what you love, you know? I love boxing, I really love it – what a sport. It’s got everything: it’s about the physical fitness, but also your mental fitness.”

Fred first appeared on First Dates in 2013 during the first series.

Since then, the BAFTA winning show – which is filmed in London’s Paternoster Chop House – has had a huge boost in both popularly and ratings.

Away from filming, Fred is also the general manager at Galvin at Windows, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the London Hilton on Park Lane and released a book titled The Art Of Service in 2010.
