You’ll never believe what First Dates maître d’ Fred Sirieix used to look like before his incredible TV transformation
HE’S become the most famous maître d’ in the country thanks to his starring role on Channel Four’s First Dates, but Fred Sirieix has been keeping a secret.
The French man has been hiding his sexy six pack away since finding fame on the hit TV show - and has become quite the fitness fanatic.
In our throwback snap, a clean shaven Fred looks virtually unrecognisable in an ill fitted suit. Since then, the smooth star seems to have found himself a stylist and grew his now famous face fuzz.
Talking of his fitness routines, Fred has previously admitted to completing a gruelling 306 press-ups a day as well as cycling to and from work.

He admitted: “‘I like to think I’m more of a lover. You’ve got to love to fight, and fight for what you love, you know? I love boxing, I really love it – what a sport. It’s got everything: it’s about the physical fitness, but also your mental fitness.”
Fred first appeared on First Dates in 2013 during the first series.
Since then, the BAFTA winning show - which is filmed in London’s Paternoster Chop House - has had a huge boost in both popularly and ratings.
Away from filming, Fred is also the general manager at Galvin at Windows, a Michelin-starred restaurant at the London Hilton on Park Lane and released a book titled The Art Of Service in 2010.
