Joey Essex pursued by ex-Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby
Former TOWIE star would still be open to going on a date with fellow reality TV personality
JOEY Essex has revealed he was once propositioned by Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.
The former TOWIE star is set to take part in a brand new dating show on E4, Celebs Go Dating, but in an exclusive chat with The Sun Online, the 25-year-old admitted he could have been taken off the market if he'd accepted Charlotte's offer of a date.
Asked about the most outrageous proposition he had ever had, Joey said: "Probably Charlotte Crosby asking me out saying that she really wants to go on a date with me."
Joey insists that while the date didn't happen, he didn't turn her down either, and there could be scope for romance in the future.
He added: "She may have a chance. I like Charlotte, she's a good girl and we're really good friends."
Ironically, Charlotte, 26, is also taking part in the show, which will see celebrities go out with members of the public, with cameras following their every move.
Attending the E4 Summer Schedule Party on Wednesday night, Joey admitted to The Sun Online that he's nervous about who he will be set up with, saying: "I'm looking forward to it, I've only gone on dates with girls that I've wanted to go out with. Dating someone from the public like this will be pretty strange.

"We get to choose them, but it's a bit odd having to be in a room full of girls and having to speak to them like that, but it's exciting at the same time."
However the star will not be using any cheesy chat up lines, with Joey insisting it's not his style.
He said: "I don't really do chat up lines, if I see someone I like then I just got up and talk to them, standard."
Asked what his biggest turn off in a potential female partner is, Joey added: "If they are a bit obsessive. I can't stand that."
Aside from Celebs Go Dating, the star is also working on the next instalment of his TV show, Educating Joey Essex, with the new series focusing on the American presidential campaign.
He revealed: "I'm going to New York to fly over and meet all those guys."
But when asked if he is on Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton's side, he added: "I'm not team anyone, never take sides with anyone."
Joey previously learned about the British General Election and more recently the EU referendum, but he admitted he would like to know more about things outside of politics.
He said: "I'd like to learn about space. I want to visit the moon or maybe Mars. I think I've got a lot to learn about life."
