His ex-wife Victoria Rose "truly believed" he'd changed his ways after they wed, but has now filed for divorce over his drug use.

Who is Danny Cipriani's wife Victoria Rose?
Victoria Rose O'Callaghan is from Derby.
According to reports she is a mental health campaigner.
She had long-term relationships with Steven Austin and Gavin Dunnicliffe before striking up a romance with Danny.
Steve, the father of her first-born child, tragically died aged 22 in September 1999.

Victoria's half-sister Zara Newbold told : "She was very young when she had her first baby.
"She and Steve were happy together and I think they would have had a long lasting relationship.
"But he died in not a very nice accident leaving Vicky with a young baby, which was hard for her.
"We grew up in Derby but Vicky later ventured out, she wanted bigger and better things. She moved to Essex and then London."

Victoria previously had a fling with Katie Price's ex-husband Alex Reid, a former cage fighter.
The pair dated in 2012 after his relationship with Chantelle Houghton ended.

When did Danny Cipriani and Victoria Rose get married?
Danny and Victoria wed in an "intimate" ceremony on April 27, 2021.
Victoria posted on Instagram: "Today we officially became Mr & Mrs Cipriani in a small intimate setting with our nearest and dearest.
"We are looking forward to our big day Caribbean style when travel is permitted.
"Cheers to love, laughter, but especially to our happily ever after. Our adventure begins. Dannie Cipriani I love you."
While Danny wrote: “Officially Mrs Cipriani @victoriarosecipriani - married my best friend today!!”
The pair got engaged after just four months of dating in August 2020.
Are Danny Cipriani and Victoria Rose still married?
Danny announced he and Victoria had split up after just over two and a half years of marriage in November 2023.

They reportedly broke up after she saw "messages on his phone".
A source told that up until the summer, all had been well in the marriage.
They added: "Victoria had been increasingly unhappy over the last few months.
"Things got tense and then she saw some text messages on his phone and it led to some difficult rows between them and they have now split up.
"They are both devastated at the breakdown of their marriage."
And in August 2024, Victoria exclusively opened up to The Sun about Danny secretly texting other women, eating magic mushrooms and taking prescription drugs, admitting she'd “had the wool pulled over her eyes”.
The former rugby ace is now dating US actress AnnaLynne McCord.

Victoria said: “He left, I was heartbroken. Then he got together with AnnaLynne. I felt humiliated by him but now I want to move on with my life.
“He is so into taking psychedelics that I don’t believe he knows what is reality and what is not.”
Speaking about the start of their relationship, she explained: “He was liking my Instagram pictures and messaging me. I went to see him and we had sex. He went to Malibu.
“We messaged a lot but then Covid hit. It was a phone relationship after that.”
Victoria discovered she was pregnant with Danny’s child, a boy.
She said: “I was shocked and I didn’t really know what to do.
“I had to tell him over the phone because he was stranded in Malibu due to lockdown.

“He said, ‘I am all in.’ He said we would raise our baby together.
“I didn’t take it to mean that we’d be in a relationship. I don’t think either of us knew what would happen. But we were both going to do our best for the baby.”
When Danny returned to the UK in May 2020, he and Victoria began living at his home in Cheltenham.
Victoria said: “When we saw each other again I was blown away with him. It was like the pregnancy made him want to be a better person. He knew he had to step up and wanted to do that for us.
“He told me everything. All about the women he has been with. It was hard to go through everything together, but it was like we both purged out what we had experienced in life.
"I started to really trust in him. It was lockdown still so it was a strange time. We were in this bubble of love.”
But his substance abuse became a problem, with Victoria claiming he spent between £400 and £600 a month on drugs, whoch he usually bought on Instagram — his favourite being an LA-made mushroom chocolate bar called Fusion.

She said: “I got so sick of it. It started to upset me. Everyday he said he wouldn’t do drugs. Then by midday he’d be back on them.
“The thing with Danny is, he could be on mushrooms and talking to you and you would have no idea. He functions so well on them.
"Then he has times he will take lots to get high and be on another planet. Most of the time it was taking small amounts, constantly eating bits of the chocolate throughout the day.
She added: “Danny genuinely believes it is helping him on his quest for inner peace.
“One day he took a large amount and just lay on the floor. I thought I would be able to help him and he said he wanted to stop taking drugs.
Danny was taking loads of prescription drugs and I just said, ‘Enough is enough.’”
Do Danny Cipriani and Victoria Rose have children?
The former couple didn't have children together,
However, Victoria is a mum to two kid, and had her first child, Jade, when she was 14.
