HE has just got used to a new thatch of hair, but new pics today show that actor James Nesbitt could be losing it already.

He revealed his new thick crop at the beginning of the year, having been known for having rather less hair.

James has previously made no secret of having undergone surgery to boost his hairline.

He even appeared in a video advertisement for Hair Restoration Blackrock Clinic two years ago.

In a clip he admits hair loss as a potential threat to his career, and calls his worries "an obsession".

He says: "I have had two hair transplants and I am very pleased with the results. In fact, I’d go as far as to say they’ve changed my life.”

The world took to Twitter after he unveiled his new thicker hair back in January when he hosted the FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala.

Today though the Cold Feet star was snapped filming Lucky man in London and his hair wasn’t looking as full.

The actor is one of a growing number of celebrities turning to follicle implants.

Others sporting thicker locks include Wayne Rooney, Hugh Laurie and Rob Brydon.

Hair transplants, also known as hair plugs involve moving hair from a healthy, thick patch of the scalp to an area that's balding.
